The Cumi table is a gorgeous naturally created and minimally processed piece of furniture, stunning in its gnarled, twisted state. The table is made from the root system of a teak tree, which shows the very foundation of the famous tectonis grandis tree. Twisted and formed under the earth, this table is very minimally processed, but is finished in a gorgeous black color to highlight certain aspects of depth and character in the table. It is a beautiful contrast to the highly groomed contemporary spaces, or the meticulous modern spaces. It is a gorgeous homage to the power of nature and the philosophy of minimally processed furniture.
